Why did you apply for this project?
We want to implement this project to fulfill the needs of DIJA, the professional and personal needs of DIJA staff and trainees. With this project we want to:
1) Improve DIJA’s capabilities in order to create and execute high-quality mobility projects in professional education in the future.
2) To improve the foreign language knowledge of DIJA professional education staff
3) Implement additional practice/internship opportunities for DIJA trainees and provide wider knowledge/skills in order to be able to enter the labor market.
4) Increasing the communication and interaction skills of DIJA trainees, which is an important professional skill of a pastry chef’s assistant and cook’s assistant (offer additional internships both locally (recruitment of an expert) and outside of Latvia (short-term mobility)
What results do you expect your project to have?
Promote the professional development of DIJA employees
DIJA trainees will obtain the following results:
– will strengthen their acquired knowledge and get an additional internship opportunity
– will gain new knowledge about various European dishes
– will gain additional personal development and social skills, which are needed in the labor market, by working as a cook’s assistant or a pastry chef’s assistant
To strengthen the basic skills acquired by DIJA trainees and to supplement them in both professions and professionattracting fields.
DIJA staff will get the following results:
– will get at least 6 new partners for future cooperation;
– will acquire at least 5 new methods/attitudes to implement in the daily operation of DIJA;
– will acquire at least 5 new pedagogical methods/approaches to be applied in addition to existing methods
