Our experience
Partners from Turkey
19/05/2024/ - 25/05/2024/
Would you like to see how our Erasmus+ mobility days went at the DIJA training center? Last week, we hosted guests from the Trabzon Provincial Directorate of National Education – educators and learners! In our welcoming DIJA training center, they had the opportunity to observe various classes – both in-person and remote, talk with our learners, and even get hands-on experience in our kitchen, where aspiring pastry assistants are currently learning. Erasmus+ mobility provides great opportunities for both our partners and us. It is a chance to share knowledge, gain new experiences, and build closer international cooperation.
At the end of the day, we took to the streets of Old Riga, where we watched the Ice Hockey World Championship and supported our team, showing our guests just how emotionally invested and passionate we can be in such moments! In addition, various cultural activities took place to introduce our partners to Latvian cultural traditions, creating an even warmer and friendlier atmosphere. A big thank you to Erasmus+ and the Trabzon Provincial Directorate of National Education for the experience, new impressions, and knowledge!

Great news from our collaboration with the Erasmus+ partners in Trabzon, Turkey! They recently visited our training center DIJA on a preparatory visit to get acquainted with our activities and participate in a remote class dedicated to unemployed English language training.
Our learners were pleasantly surprised and excited about the opportunity to communicate in English and gain new experiences, highlighting the significance of intercultural and language exchange.
We plan to host our collaboration partners from Turkey and their learners at our educational institution in 2024 to continue building bridges between cultures and expanding our understanding. In our free time, we showed our guests the charm of Old Riga and went together to enjoy Latvian music at the folklore club “Ala.” It was unforgettable!
This experience once again confirms that Erasmus+ projects are a wonderful opportunity not only to learn and improve but also to share cultures and make friends around the world. See you in May!

ERASMUS is not about language, but about the enjoyable experience and friendship.
In February 2024 partners from Granada visited us – both of our guests of C.E.PER. Valle de Lerin-Adult Learning centre (the director of the educational centre, Eva Carmen Ruiz Millán, and the head of studies, Joaquín Rejón Maldonado) to be inspired by the works of our learning center, as well as to form joint future cooperation. Of course, we introduced our guests to Latvian culture and nature. The CEPER. has participated for the first time in a European mobility through its KA122 Erasmus+ project.
Our joint activities:
– Getting know DIJA activities, premises and future plans, job-shadowing activities to daily work
– Visited also the Riga Technical School of Style and Fashion, where our guests and we were introduced to work of technical school and current Erasmus+ projects.
– Walk in Kemeru national Park, as well Old Riga
– In DIJA kitchen we bake traditional shortbread cookies, was a lot of fun with our team, now this recipe will be also available in Spain 🙂
